ATTACHING DEVICE:

1. The attaching device shall be prong and wing type clutch.

2. -1 Attaching device shall be three prongs and clutches. Two of the prongs shall be

located on the intersections of the center of the rope at the horizontal center line above the

base of the badge. The third prong shall be located at the top of the badge centered on the

rope at the anchor eye.

3. -2 Attaching device shall be two prongs and clutches. The prongs shall be located on

the intersections of the center of the rope at the horizontal center line 3/8 inch + 1/64 inch

above the base of the badge.

4. A mock forcer may be used to bring up the design of the shield on the regular size

badge only.

NOTES:

1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the Government furnished hub or

die.

2. Piercing shall be as indicated.
