*NOTE: Three five-pointed white stars, each star measuring 5/16 inch (8.0mm) in diameter, shall be located in
the center of the 1-1/8 inches (28.6mm) Scarlet stripe to form an equilateral triangle measuring 9/16 inch
(14.3mm) on each side. The center of each star shall be located in the points of the equilateral triangle. The
triangular group of stars shall be formed either from a filling effect design or screen printed at the option of the
manufacturer. The first triangular group shall be 18 inches (457.2mm) from a cutting mark (white thread)
measured to the vertical center of the triangle; the second triangular group shall be 41 inches (1041.4mm) from
the first group, center to center; the third triangular group shall be 36 inches ((914.mm) from the second groups,
center to center and so on with a 41 - 36 - 41 - 36 inches (1041.4 - 914.4 - 1041.4 - 914.4mm) pattern repeat with
a cutting mark (white thread) midway between the groups, which are 36 inches (914.4mm) apart.
