7. A ring formed from bronze wire shall be soldered on the vertical center line of the
suspension bar. The center of the ring shall be located 7/64 inch + 1/32 inch - 0 from the
bottom of the suspension bar for Dash No. -1 and 1/16 inch + 1/32 inch - 0 for Dash No. -2.
The ring for Dash No. 1 shall be formed from 0.065 inch ± 0.002 inch wire and shall have
an outside diameter of 7/32 inch ± 1/64 inch. The ring for Dash No. 2 shall be formed from
0.031 inch ± 0.002 inch wire and shall have an outside diameter of 1/8 inch ± 1/64 inch.
8. Decoration set shall consist of a regular size medal, a service ribbon, a rosette, and a
lapel button all packaged in a presentation case conforming to MIL-DTL-14633 Type V,
Style 5 with a Class 1 or 1A pad.
9. The ribbon for the pendant drape and service ribbon shall conform to
MIL-DTL-11589/51.
10. The rosette shall conform to MIL-DTL-14649/19.
11. The lapel button shall conform to MIL-DTL-11484/70.
