-1: 0.165 inch + 0.010 inch

-2: 0.095 inch + 0.010 inch

NOTES:

1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the Government furnished

hub or die.

2. Piercing shall be as indicated.

3. The reverse side shall be flat, plain and suitable for engraving.

4. The reverse side of the wreath for Dash No. -1 shall be engraved with the words

"EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE". The letters shall be 1/16 inch block letters centered on the

midpoint of the wreath with the first letter "E" and the last letter "E" equidistant from the

vertical center line.

5. Decoration set shall consist of a regular size medal, a service ribbon and a lapel

button all packaged in a presentation case conforming to MIL-DTL-14633, Type XV, Style 1

with a Class 1 or 1A pad.

6. The ribbon for the pendant drape and service ribbon shall conform to

MIL-DTL-11589/164.

7. The lapel button shall conform to MIL-DTL-11484/79.
