NOTES:

1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the Government furnished

hub or die.

2. The lug shall have a 1/32 inch minimum thickness. The hole through the lug shall be

1/8 inch � 1/64 inch in diameter.

3. Decoration set shall be with or without a rosette and shall consist of the following:

a. A regular size medal, a miniature size medal, a service ribbon, a lapel button, and

a rosette all packaged in a presentation case conforming to MIL-DTL-14633, Type VIII,

Style 6 with a Class 2A pad or

b. A regular size medal, a miniature size medal, a service ribbon, and a lapel button

all packaged in a presentation case conforming to MIL-DTL-14633, Type VIII, Style 6 with a

Class 1, 1A or 3 pad.

4. The ribbon for the pendant drape and service ribbon shall conform to

MIL-DTL-11589/49.

5. The rosette shall conform to MIL-DTL-14649/7.

6. The lapel button shall conform to MIL-DTL-11484/31.

7. The use of any type of plastic packaging material is prohibited.
