NOTES:
1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the Government furnished
hub or die.
2. The reverse shall be suitable for engraving.
3. Dash No. -1 is shown. Dash Nos. -2, -3, and -4 have identical pendants and vary
only in the color and color pattern of the suspense ribbon.
4. Decoration Set shall consist of a regular size medal and a service ribbon all packaged
in a presentation case conforming to MIL-DTL-14633, Type XVI with Type XVI, Class 1 or 3
pad.
5. The Decoration Set for Dash Nos. -1, -2, and -4 shall have a lapel button conforming
to the applicable specification sheet as indicated:
-1: MIL-DTL-11484/64 Lapel Button, Superior Cadet Award, Senior Division, ROTC
-2: MIL-DTL-11484/99 Lapel Button, Superior Cadet Award, Junior Division, ROTC,
Army
-4: MIL-DTL-11484/100 Lapel Button, Superior Cadet Award, NDCC, Army
6. The ribbon for the pendant drape shall conform to the following sheets of
MIL-DTL-11589:
-1: MIL-DTL-11589/141 Ribbon, Superior Cadet Award, ROTC (Senior Division)
-2: MIL-DTL-11589/140 Ribbon, Superior Cadet Award, ROTC (Junior Division)
-3: MIL-DTL-11589/143 Ribbon, Superior Cadet Award, ROTC (Military School
Division)
-4: MIL-DTL-11589/142 Ribbon, Superior Cadet Award, ROTC (NDCC)
