NOTES:
1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the Government furnished
hub or die.
2. Pierced areas shall be as indicated.
3. The device shall be soft soldered or riveted to the base by a solid brass rivet. The
rivet may be extruded as an integral part of the device.
4. If a rivet is to be used to attach the device to the base, the length of the rivet shall be
controlled to ensure no deformation occurs on the reverse of the pendant.
5. The enamel color shall be green and conform to TIOH Hard Enamel Color Chip
Number 12.
6. When using a rivet to attach the device to the base, epoxy resin (stoning epoxy) may
be used in lieu of hard enamel at the option of the manufacturer. When epoxy resin is used
in lieu of hard enamel, the material requirement shall be gilding metal or red brass.
7. After finishing, the entire pendant shall be lacquered.
