NOTES:
1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the Government furnished
hub or die.
2. The lug for -1 shall be fabricated from 0.050 inch ± 0.002 inch nominal diameter wire
with the same material and finish as the pendant. The lug shall have an outside diameter
of 0.200 inch ± 0.010 inch. The lug shall be hard soldered to the top center of the pendant
as shown.
3. The lug for -2 shall be fabricated from 0.031 inch ± 0.002 inch nominal diameter wire
with the same material and finish as the pendant. The lug shall have an outside diameter
of 0.125 inch ± 0.005 inch. The lug shall be hard soldered to the top center of the pendant
as shown.
4. Reverse shall be flat and suitable for engraving.
5. Decoration set shall consist of a regular size medal, a service ribbon, and a lapel
button all packaged in a presentation case conforming to MIL-DTL-14633, Type VIII, Style
6 with a Class 1, 1A or 3 pad.
6. The ribbon for the pendant drape and service ribbon shall conform to
MIL-DTL-11589/106.
7. The lapel button shall conform to MIL-DTL-11484/13.
8. The use of any type of plastic packaging material is prohibited.
