NOTES:
1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the Government furnished
hub or die.
2. Lettering shall be incised on the reverse.
3. Decoration set shall consist of a regular size medal and a lapel button all packaged in
a presentation case conforming to MIL-C-14633, Type XV, Style 6 with a Class 1 or 1A
pad.
4. The ribbon for the pendant drape and service ribbon shall conform to
MIL-DTL-11589/386.
5. The lapel button shall conform to MIL-DTL-11484/228.
6. This item is not authorized for commercial sale, and may be produced only under
Government contract. A copy of the original purchase order from the Government Agency
concerned must accompany all written requests prior to the loan of a Government hub or die.
