NOTES:
1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the Government furnished
hub or die.
2. The pendant ribbon ring shall be rectangular. For Dash No. -1, the ring shall be
17/32 inch wide by 3/8 inch high (outside measurement) and shall be formed from 0.057
inch + 0.002 inch diameter wire.
3. The pendant ribbon ring for Dash No. -2 shall be an integral part of the lug.
4. The lug for Dash No. -1 shall not be completely drilled through but shall be drilled a
maximum of 1/16 inch from each side. The hole shall be 1/16 inch in diameter.
5. Decoration set shall consist of a regular size medal, a service ribbon and a lapel
button all packaged in a presentation case conforming to MIL-DTL-14633, Type VIII, Style
6 with a Class 1, 1A or 3 pad.
6. The ribbon for the pendant drape and service ribbon shall conform to
MIL-DTL-11589/137.
7. The lapel button shall conform to MIL-DTL-11484/12.
