3. Lugs shall be located equidistant from each end. The distance, center to center of the
lugs, shall be as follows:
-1 thru -4,-9 thru -13,-19 thru -38: 13/16 inch + 1/64
-5 thru -8,-14 thru -18,-39 thru -58: 5/8 inch + 1/64
NOTES:
1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the Government furnished
hub or die.
2. All badge clasps are of identical design except for lettering.
3. Requalification clasps covered by this specification sheet shall be used in conjunction
with the basic badges on specification sheets MIL-DTL-3628/16 and MIL-DTL-3628/17 as
applicable.
4. Badge may be rhodium plated with a mirror-like polished finish which shall match the
TIOH Metal Finish Chip Number 16 at the option of the manufacturer.
CHANGES FROM PREVIOUS ISSUE: Marginal notations are not used in this revision to
identify changes with respect to the previous issue due to the extent of the changes.
