PRONGS AND DEVICE:

1. The prongs for -1 and -2 shall be located on a horizontal line 5/8 inch + 1/16 inch -0

above the lowest point of the insignia, equidistant from each side and 11/16 inch + 1/64

inch apart.

2. -2 device shall be located on the vertical center line in the position shown, and shall

be secured to the base by means of two brass rivets 0.050 inch + 0.005 inch in diameter

and of sufficient length to ensure peening.

NOTES:

1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the Government furnished hub

or die.

2. At the option of the manufacturer for commercial sale only, insignia may be

manufactured using 22 karat gold plate with a mirror-like polished finish and nickel

underplating which shall match TIOH Metal Finish Chip Number 9.
