NOTES:
1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the Government furnished
hub or die.
2. Enameled areas shall be as indicated. The colors shall conform to the TIOH color
chip numbers listed below or the standard sample.

3. Epoxy resin (stoning epoxy) may be used in lieu of hard enamel at the option of the
manufacturer.
4. Piercing shall be as indicated.
5. The diamond shall be 0.02 karat and shall be set in a 3 or 4 bead setting.
6. Attaching device shall be prong with pick and flat ball type clutch. The prong shall
be centered on the reverse side and fused or soldered to the lapel button.
7. The entire lapel button shall be lacquered.
