EPOXY: Epoxy resin shall be applied to the lapel button as indicated above, and shall match TIOH
Hard Enamel Color Chip Numbers listed below.

ATTACHING DEVICE:
1. The attaching device shall be a prong with pick and wing type clutch.
2.
The prong shall be centered on the reverse side and either fused or hard soldered to the lapel
button.
NOTES:
1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the obverse Government furnished hub or
die.
2. Hard enamel may be used in lieu of epoxy resin at the option of the manufacturer, if hard enamel
is used the material shall be Gilding Metal 95/5 (UNS alloy C-210).
CHANGES FROM PREVIOUS ISSUE: Marginal notations are not used in this revision to identify
