NOTES:
1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the
Government furnished hub or die.
2. Enameled areas shall be as indicated. The colors shall conform to
the TIOH color chip numbers listed below or the standard sample.

3. Epoxy resin (stoning epoxy) may be used in lieu of hard enamel at
the option of the manufacturer.
4. Attaching device shall be prong with pick and flat ball type
clutch. The prong shall be centered on the reverse side and fused or
soldered to the lapel button.
5. Each lapel button shall be mounted and centered on a sulfite board
0.030 inch (0.076 cm in thickness (minimum) and approximately 3-3/4 inches
(9.53 cm) in length by 2-1/4 inches (5.72 cm) wide. The face of the
sulfite board shall be covered with cobalt blue flock. The mounted sulfite
board shall be placed in a rigid hinged plastic box having a transparent
lid and opaque white bottom section. The box shall have two plastic
hinges and catches and shall be approximately 3 inches (7.62 cm) in
length, 1-1/4 inches (3.18 cm) wide and 3/4 inch (1.91 cm) in overall
depth.
