The requirements for acquiring the product described herein shall consist of this specification
sheet and the latest issue of MIL-R-41819.

ATERIAL: Red Brass 85/15 (UNS Alloy No. C-230) or Nickel Silver 65/15
(UNS Alloy C-752)
FINISH: Nickel Plated (C-230 only) Mirror-like Polished and shall match The Institute of
Heraldry Metal Finish Chip Number 16.
DIMENSIONS:
HEIGHT: 1/4 inch + 1/64 inch (REF)
WIDTH: 1/4 inch + 1/64 inch (REF)
THICKNESS (At thickest point): 0.055 inch + .005 inch
ATTACHING DEVICE:
1. The attaching device shall be two single post type prongs.
2. The prongs shall be located on the reverse side of the ribbon attachment at the
intersection of each outside leg of the "W" and the horizontal center line.
