The requirements for acquiring the product described herein shall consist of this specification
sheet and the latest issue of MIL-DTL-3628.
MATERIAL: Red Brass 85/15 (UNS Alloy No.C-230)
FINISH: Oxidized, Relieved, Matte Finish, and shall match The Institute of Heraldry Metal
Finish Chip Number 4.
DIMENSIONS:
HEIGHT (Excluding lug): 1-5/16 inches (REF)
WIDTH (Overall): 1-5/16 inches (REF)
THICKNESS (At edge): 0.100 inch + 0.010 inch
LUG:
1. Lug for shall be formed from 0.050 inch + 0.002 inch diameter brass wire and shall have an
outside diameter of 13/64 inch + 1/64 inch.
2. The lug for -2 shall be an integral part of the pendant.
3. Lug shall be hard soldered to the top of the pendant.
